Skipper Cup: Suva remain unbeaten

SUVA remain unbeaten beating Northland to keep their unbeaten streak intact beating them by 22 points to 18 during their Skipper Cup round match at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori this afternoon.

Suva with a relatively new look lineup outscored the hometeam by four tries to two managing a bonus point win and awarding Northland a fourth straight loss.

Suva Rugby Union president Humphrey Tawake praised the efforts of the coaching staff commending the win to the development within the union.

“It shows the depth that we have in Suva Rugby,” Tawake said.

” And shows the confidence in the coaching staff in selecting the 23 that played against Northland with a majority of our starters committed to national duty.

Suva go top of the table with three rounds left in the competition
