VODAFONE Fiji national football team defender Kolinio Sivoki is likely to cover for Laisenia Raura in the FIFA international friendly against Mauritius tomorrow.
The Lautoka player missed last week’s game because of the red card he copped against Singapore in Fiji’s last international outing.
Raura, who played a huge role in Fiji’s 3-0 win over New Caledonia, will also miss out for the game after copping a red card against New Caledonia. The expulsion of Raura will not affect the team especially having a player of Sivoki’s calibre to cover the vacuum.
Head coach Christophe Gamel said he would not make many changes from the side that defeated New Caledonia.
But Fiji football wonder boy and Wellington Phoenix Roy Krishna will certainly be part of the 15-member team to face Mauritius.
“The new boys really played well and we will not be making many changes,” said Gamel.
Some of the players likely to win their spot for the game include Fiji FA player of the year Kavaia Rawaqa and last year’s best player Dave Radregai, striker Samuela Drudru, Amani Makoe, Beniamino Mateinaqara, Rusiate Matairerega.
He said the game would be tough and urged his players to follow the game plan set out for them. The game will be held at Lautoka’s Churchill Park, 3pm.
