Singh pleads not guilty

BOXER Sebastian Singh has pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault causing actual bodily harm.

He appeared before Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara yesterday for the alleged assault of his 22-year-old pregnant wife in December last year.

Defence lawyer Siddharth Nandan filed a motion to vary Mr Singh’s bail conditions because he is due to take part in a World Boxing Council-sanctioned event.
