SOCIAL Democratic Liberal Party MP Mosese Bulitavu  says as the Shadow Minister for Defence it would be his responsibility to ensure that RFMF provides an account of their expenses on hosting events such as the Fiji Day celebrations held in Labasa last month.

While confirming his appointment outside Parliament this afternoon, he also thanked the Opposition Leader Sitiveni Rabuka for putting his trust on him to take up the role.

“I know this will be a significant role for the Opposition which deals with all defence arms of this country, to scrutinise them, now I will wait on the RFMF and Fiji Police,” Mr Bulitavu said.
