SGS Tuvusa makes 200m comeback

Update: 4:46PM MALASEBE Tuvusa of Suva Grammar School made his comeback in the 200m seniors-boys final winning his first gold for the day.
Tuvusa who is a Year 13 students at SGS had a close race with Marist’s Tony Lemeki at the 100m finals and came in second. However in the 200m finals, Tuvusa strikes back to win the race over the blue ribbon event winner.
The Ra lad said he was committed to do his best at the zone to qualify for the national meet.
“I just kept pushing myself to keep going because I’ve worked hard for this,” he said.
“My parents traveled from Ra this morning to watch me run and I am glad I could win gold for SGS today.”
