Senior districts begin mandatory local league competitions

SENIOR districts have started local league competitions as required by the Fiji Football Association.

Fiji FA chief executive Mohammed Yusuf had stated that districts which did not complete three rounds of local league competitions would not be allowed to participate in the Vodafone Senior League.

Navua president Rajeev Prasad confirmed they had played two rounds already while Lami president Deepak Lal said they had completed one.

Tailevu Naitasiri and Tailevu North have also begun with the local league competition.

The VSL starts in March.
