SEEK aid from foreign missions to assist in your village development projects.

This was the advice given by Commissioner Central Josefo Navuku to village heads during the Serua Provincial Council meeting in Navua this week.

He made the comment in response to concerns raised by four district representatives of 24 villages within Serua on the delays in the completion of developments.

“We have educated people in our province,” he said

“Some projects like schools, bus shelters and footpaths, all these developments we can do it by ourselves without the help of Government.

“If we draw out a good plan on these projects, we will be able to rope in assistance from other agencies and including the 16 foreign missions like China and Japan, a lot of times we have witnessed the Japanese Ambassador assisting developments in villages.
