LAUTOKA City came alive during the recent second school term break when it hosted the Fiji Secondary Schools Netball competition.

The annual event held at the Central College ground was attended by players and students from around the country as well as teachers, parents and schools supporters.

The girls from Nasese, Suva Grammar School dominated the finals when it walked away with the U15, U17 and the U19 grades.

The SGS U19 side defeated Jasper Williams High School 22-12 in a nail-biting final.

The SGS U17 side defeated Uluivalili Secondary all the way from Vanua Levu 19-14 and the U15 team defeated rivals St Joseph’s Secondary School 16-14.

Jasper Williams High School defeated Adi Cakobau School 11-7 in the U14 final.

Nadi Muslim College beat Macuata 12- 7 in the boy’s division.
