Second Fiji Airways Airbus to arrive home tonight

THE second Fiji Airways Airbus A350-XWB is expected to arrive into the country at 8pm tonight.

The aircraft named ‘Island of Viti Levu’ would be officially welcomed by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at the Fiji Airways hangar in Nadi.

The leased aircraft would the total national airline fleet to 19.

According to Fiji Airways managing director and CEO Andre Viljoen, with the inclusion of the Island of Viti Levu, their fleet would now consist of two A350-XWBs, five A330-200s and one A330-300 alongside three Boeing 737s, three ATRs and four DHC-6 Series 400 Twin Otters.
