Search on for toddler who was allegedly swept away by currents

A THREE-YEAR-OLD toddler is missing after he was allegedly swept away by currents at the Sigatoka River yesterday.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said a police search was launched after family members could not locate the young boy.

She said the victim had accompanied his father and two relatives out fishing when he went missing.

Ms Naisoro said the search for the missing boy resumed today.
