SOCIAL Democratic Liberal Party president Ro Filipe Tuisawau labelled comments made by Fiji Sun’s Nemani Delaibatiki this week about Opposition leader Sitiveni Rabuka’s complaint to Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption as “laughable.”
Mr Delaibatiki, in his Between the Lines column and in a newspaper article on January 19, said Mr Rabuka’s complaint against Government to FICAC in relation to the $500,000 Rewa Dairy restructure consultancy to Aliz Pacific without following the tender process was akin to “flogging a dead horse.”
Mr Delaibatiki also said Mr Rabuka should be the last person to complain, given the National Bank of Fiji “collapse” under his watch.
