FIJIAN 7s rugby sensation Eroni Sau is soaring to greater heights in the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians rugby team circle.

The Yasawa flyer is the talk of the Fiji team’s 68-7 big win against Uruguay yesterday in the Europe Tour Test series.

The Los Teros lost in Gloucester yesterday morning against a composed Fijian side which last week lost to Scotland.

Sau scored the opening try before utility back Metuisela Talebula, forward Peceli Yato, Josua Tuisova and Albert Tuisue contributed to Fiji’s 35-7 for the half-time lead.

Sau completed his hat-trick in the second half while other tries came from Yato, Semi Kunatani and Ben Volavola.

Rugby Uruguay yesterday reported that Uruguay was thrashed in the third presentation of Los Teros in this November international window.

Uruguay tried to press its rivals from the start, but the islanders managed to put themselves in advantage of premature form and quickly took the reins of the encounter.

The Los Teros scored through Santiago Arata after an excellent individual play at the exit of a scrum. Based on the great physical power and skills of their players, the Fijians were superior and reflected it in the score, RU reported.

Uruguay will play Romania on Saturday while Fiji meets France in its last Test game on tour.
