SWIRE shipping Fijian Latui’s match against Kagifa Samoa tomorrow is a pathway to many bigger things to come.

This is the sentiment of Fiji Rugby Union CEO John O’Connor.

O’Connor said that the Samoans are an unknown team but they cannot be underestimated.

“There players are not from Samoa. The owner is Hawaiian. They named some good players and you know when Pacific Islanders meet then it’s not going to be an easy battle,” he said.

He added that the match tomorrow will serve as a good platform before facing the western Force next week.

The Fijian Latui play Kagifa Samoa at 3.10pm tomorrow and face Western Force at the same venue next week.

The Latui will then travel to Auckland to play Kagifa Samoa on June 7,2019 and to Perth to rematch the Western Force on June 21.
