APIA, 22 FEBRUARY 2019 (PACIFIC GAMES OFFICE) – Samoa Shipping Corporation Limited is the Gold Sponsor for Samoa 2019 Pacific Games with $500,000 (US$191,000) sponsorship.
They’ll be supporting the Games with preparations for Savai’i, where the boxing will be held, transporting athletes, officials and equipment.
“The Government has always believed that ‘what’s good for Upolu is also good for Savaii’ and this will also be a great opportunity for the residents of Savai’i to watch and be part of the games in the big island,” said Palea Vaalele Faaolotoi, Deputy Chairman of SSC’s Board of Directors, at Thursday’s agreement signing.
Chairman of the Pacific Games, Loau Solamalemalo Keneti Sio thanked SSC, saying: “As the Minister for Sport, such assistance gives me great joy.”
