Fijian Police are investigating an alleged murder of a woman whose body was found floating near the Lomolomo Beach in the Western Division last Sunday (November 13).

Police said a farmer from Naboutini, Sabeto, and his family stumbled upon the body while making their way to the same location for a picnic.

“Investigators are yet to identify the victim, and we are releasing the following photos in the hope that someone may recognise these tattoos and come forward to identify the victim,” Police said this morning.

“The victim has a tattoo with the words Renal on her right chest and left wrist. She also has a tattoo of a rose on her left arm and the tattoo of a butterfly on her right leg.”

Police are appealing for assistance from members of the public to assist in identifying the victim and in investigations; and are advised to contact Crime Stoppers Fiji on 919 or the Western Division Command Centre on 9905 457.
