RUGBY 7s fans are excited with Fiji getting the opportunity to host the 2023 New Zealand Sevens, possibly in Nadi.

NZ rugby chief of rugby officer, Nigel Cass revealed on Saturday during the Hamilton tourney, that there’s a high possibility of playing the annual event in Fiji in the next three years.

Among rugby fans planning to come to Fiji is Isabel Morris of Auckland.

She was at the Hamilton tourney yesterday with couple John Broadley and Alison Purdie.

“That is the most fantastic rugby 7s news because the game will go to its rightful owner,” Morris said.

“I will be there because I follow 7s rugby. I am from England but I closely follow the Fiji 7s team.

“Fiji should ensure to host the tournament,” she said.
