A TOTAL of 725 students of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School (RSMS) took part in their cadet passing out parade held at Albert Park in Suva today.
Fiji’s Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who was the reviewing officer for the parade reminded the students to continue being disciplined once they have joined tertiary institutions.
“One message I would like to give to you is to please use this discipline to become a lot more patriotic about our country,” Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said.
He said patriotism was not only about being proud when Sevens side win tournaments overseas.
“It’s also about how we interact with each other and how we carry out our day to day living. Some of you may become Police officers, you must apply the law equally to everybody.”
The A-G acknowledged the students for displaying a wonderful parade to the hundreds of parents, guardians and friends who were there to witness the occasion.
