MOTORISTS are advised to expect delays while travelling on the rural Queens Road between Navua and Namelimeli.

Fiji Roads Authority general manager Central Division Aram Goes stressed this in a statement saying major road reconstruction was underway to improve the 3.4km length of the Queens Road that had deteriorated significantly in recent months.

“Works are planned to continue from today through to all day Saturday, November 24, from 6am to 7pm and again from Monday, November 26, through to Friday, November 30,” Mr Goes said.

The FRA has advised motorists to allow additional journey time in their travel plans as necessary.
