The number of accidents and deaths on our national roads is no longer a joke.
Reckless and selfish driving coupled with speeding is one of the main reasons for these fatalities.
I believe some drivers no longer have respect and courtesy for other road users. They think they are the only road users.
The observance of the national speed limit should be observed by all citizens; including government vehicles.
When we all learn (drivers/pedestrians) to respect the road rules and be courteous towards one another, the road causalities I believe will be lessened.
It does not take rocket science to discover this fact, just like what my late grandfather always reminded me, it’s just “common sense” boy!
Drive tiko, nanuma tiko Viti.
