MINISTER for Health Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete today launched the Rewa Subdivision clean-up campaign at Waidamudamu settlement in Nakasi.

At the launch, he said it was necessary to engage everyone, including men, women, and children in cleaning up their surroundings by getting rid of any receptacle that contained stagnant water.

Dr Waqainabete said health facilities and staff had been working tirelessly for the past four months as we to continue to experience the rise in dengue cases.

“The Ministry of Health and Medical Services will continue to work effectively with all communities to ensure that we minimise the risk of anyone getting dengue,” he said.
