Delta One Automotive Repairs Rewa coach Marika Rodu wants his side to focus on enjoying their game and not succumb to the pressure that comes ahead of the next elimination round of the Punjas 2020 Battle of the Giants tournament.

“I have taken the responsibility and the weight off the players shoulders so they can play and enjoy and just have fun during this semi-final,” Rodu said.

Rodu said after a hectic first round last week, the Tigers had taken no break and returned immediately back to the training field.

“We didn’t waste any time and started working yesterday and the important thing for me at the moment is the boys recovery.”

The Vodafone Premier League top of the table points leaders are cchasing their ninth BOG title.

“Today we will hit the ground and work on all aspects of our game, keep possession short and just have fun.”

Experienced players such as goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau, Peniame Drova, Kavaia Rawaqa, and Usaia Tadu among others will be expected to lead the Tigers charge again this weekend.

Delta One Automotive Repairs Rewa take on Priceline Pharmacy Ba this Saturday in the first semi-final of the Punjas Battle of the Giants at Churchill Park in Lautoka at 2pm.
