Retailer wins top award

JACK’S of Fiji was the biggest winner at the 2019 Fiji Business Excellence Awards at the Sheraton Fiji Resort Denarau Convention Centre over the weekend.

The retail giants won the 2019 President’s Award for meeting the highest standards for quality in business.

Company CEO Bhavin Khatri said they were extremely honoured to receive the prestigious award.

“This award belongs to all the 1561 team members and their families who have been loyal to the Jack’s brand and have made us who we are today,” he said.

“Our people are at the heart of everything we do and the most valuable asset we have.

“It is their commitment and efforts towards accepting responsibility, embracing change and respecting humanity which makes us the respected brand both locally and internationally.”

He said their loyal customers and stakeholders had been instrumental in their success.

“I need to thank our customers, suppliers, partners and stakeholders — without whom there is no business.

“Through your support, trust in our brand and continued business, we are able to grow and expand.

“This recognition is a momentous one as we celebrate our 50th anniversary this year and to receive this award from the President makes it even more special.”
