RADISSON Blu Resort Fiji beat stiff competition from neighbouring properties to claim the number one spot in TripAdvisor’s top family hotels in Fiji category.

The resort is also ranked highly in the categories, Top Three Hotels for Families in the South Pacific and Top 10 Hotels in Fiji.

For the first time, it is also featured among top luxury properties in the country.

Resort general manager Charles Homsy attributed the success to his staff and management.

“TripAdvisor is the voice of the guest, we have no input whatsoever other than doing our job right,” he said.

“This is the fourth year in a row we have this presence and this beautiful achievement and it all goes directly to the staff. We have always been blessed and lucky to have the quality of people we have today, they are very dedicated and very friendly.

“They are always with a smile and always with a ‘yes I can’ attitude so I’m really proud of the staff members.”

He said this was the first time for the resort to be rated in the top luxury hotels in Fiji category.

“This is the first year we are in the luxury category and again, it’s a huge achievement, especially when we know with who we are competing.

“This includes hotels that have much more means and capabilities than us.

“This is why we say that in the hospitality industry, we can have beautiful products and you can have big rooms but at the end of the day, it’s about the staff and the quality of people that surround you and work with you every day.”
