Relief supplies reach more than 5000 Fijians in the outer islands

Government has assisted more than 5000 Fijians so far during the Malolo, Yasawa and Mamanuca group ration distribution initiative following Tropical Cyclone Harold.

According to government, more than 10 villages were visited and assessed on day four of the 14-day trip.

“The government delegation’s morale is high and the team looks forward to distributing and assessing the 32 villages on the three islands,” the government said.

“The Fijian Government continues to carry out damage assessment works and distribute food rations to those affected by TC Harold.”
