Red hot specials

JIVAN Bhai’s Homeware started as a grocery business in the 1940s in Nausori. It first operated in front of the hospital health centre by founders Vallah Bhai and Dahi Ben who later decided to run as a grocery and kitchen ware business.

In 1998, Satisk Kumar then became the proprietor of the family business that specialises in items such as poojaware, kitchenware, fancy goods, cosmetics, greeting cards and many more.

Mr Kumar says his wife has been beside him through the ups and downs of their business and adds without the staff business can’t operate.

“Year by year, the business is doing better,” said Mr Kumar.

“Teamwork offers any business and staff the ability to become more familiar with each other and learn how to work together. The importance of teamwork is vital to the success for any particular business.”

For the month of March, Mr Kumar said customers should make the most of their red hot specials on selected items.

“A lot of items are on half prices, some are up to 60 and 70 per cent off and this will be going on until the end of the month,” he said.

“You can always negotiate with us if you want so don’t hesitate to drop by and take advantage of this sale. If you don’t like the price, always ask me and I can always give a better price.

We give priority to our customers and we always go to an extent in helping customers. Our overseas buying are done accordingly to customer demand particularly from India, China and Indonesia.”

Jivan Bhai’s Homeware is located at Shop 4 Jiwan Bhai complex, 6 Ross Street in Nausori.
