Scott “Razor” Robertson been the talk of the rugby world over the past few days and the Fiji Rugby Union has approached him to be part of the Flying Fijians’ Rugby World Cup campaign.

The RWC will be held in France and from September 8 to October 28.

FRU acting chief executive officer Tevita Tuiloa is a fan of Robertson and hopes things will be made clear in the coming days.

“He has a very good rugby brain,” Tuiloa said of Robertson’s capabilities to prepare a team.

“We are telling him ‘look, after you have locked down seven Super Rugby titles, is there an opportunity to come and be a technical advisor or something behind the scene for the Flying Fijians?’.

“We have good locals here who can also do the job.”

The Crusaders head coach was the first name to appear in the Fiji rugby circles after Vern Cotter vacated his position.

FRU is expected to announce the Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua and Flying Fijians coaches next week. Some top coaches who can be considered are Simon Raiwalui, Bill Gadolo, Senirusi Seruvakula and Inoke Male to name a few.
