Bau chief, Ratu Epenisa Cakobau has been elected as the new president for the SODELPA party.

General Secretary Emele Duituturaga was heard announcing the appointment at the special general meeting venue at Novotel Suva Lami Bay Convention Centre a while ago.

Members of the media and party supporters are not allowed into the meeting venue.
