Rape suspect pleads not guilty

A 27-YEAR-OLD man charged with two counts of rape pleaded not guilty before Justice Thushara Rajasinge at the High Court  in Suva today.

It is alleged that the accused raped his 19-year-old niece and a 21-year-old woman.

The alleged incident occurred on October 27, 2018 in Suva.

The accused has been remanded and the case has been adjourned to March 6.
