A TOTAL of 60 premier players will be randomly selected for drugs tests at the upcoming Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament.

Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf says the parent body wants all players to play fair and clean football.

He said the test was to create awareness for players and those tested positive would face the full brunt of the law.

Yusuf said two players from each team per game would be selected for the test.

One of the national reps tested last month has been cleared while the test result for the other player to be revealed later this week.

Early this year former national rep Valerio Nawatu was tested positive for drugs and was suspended at all levels of soccer for three years.

The Fiji Fact will be held at Ratu Cakobau next weekend.
