Rakiraki students get free lunch, thanks to an initiative by lawmen

More than 1000 students within the Rakiraki District were provided with lunch yesterday by the officers in Rakiraki.

According to police, this was made successful through the free lunch program initiative led by the Officer in Charge in the Ra Division Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police Pramesh Ram.

“Officers believe that during these trying times people need to work together and care for each other in the spirit of Veilomani especially in areas where our future generations are involved, said police in a statement.

The Head-Teacher of Penang Sangam Primary School Richard Kumar thanked the officers for taking out their time in assisting them.
