Former Fijian 7s and Fiji Warriors captain Nemani Nagusa will form an integral part of the leadership group for the Fijian Drua in the Super Rugby Pacific competition.
Nagusa is one of the five players named by Fiji Rugby, who has signed up for the Fijian Drua for next year’s competition.
The 33-year-old comes in with a lot of experience having played in New Zealand, France and England.
He has also earned 18 Test caps for the Flying Fijians since making his debut against Georgia in 2021.
Fiji Rugby general manager high performance Simon Raiwalui said the Fijian Drua would be a young and exciting outfit, so Nagusa will bring experience at a really high level.
“He will come in and he will be the leader right from the start,” Raiwalui said.
“He has got that experience at the professional level. Of this group that we have announced, there are three leaders and all of them lead their own way.”
Tevita Ikanivere is a natural leader and he has led at the under-20 level.

The names of the remaining players for the Fijian Drua squad will be announced progressively.
