PRESIDENT of the UN General Assembly Dr Tijjani Mohammed-Bande was accorded a traditional I-Vakasobu by the people of Vusama, Nadroga this morning.

Mr Mohammed-Bande is in Vusama village to raise awareness on how communities and recipients are benefiting from the Ridge to Reef (R2R) Project Interventions in the Tuva Catchment.

His visit is also intended to raise awareness around ongoing conservation efforts by the villages of Vusama and partners in the Tuva Catchment through the R2R project.
