Rabuka trial: Lloyd to confirm next course of action

SODELPA leader Sitiveni Rabuka’s lawyer Ian Lloyd will confirm this afternoon on the next step defence will take in the trial against his client.

The prosecution closed its case a moment ago after they presented two witnesses in court.

A total of 18 exhibits and four statements were also recorded.

Mr Lloyd said he needed time to consult his client.

Mr Rabuka is standing trial before Magistrate Jioji Boseiwaqa in the Suva Magistrates Court.

He is charged in relation to his alleged failure to declare his assets, liabilities and income contrary to the Political Party Act.
