QUEEN Victoria School defeated Marist Brothers High School 28-19 in their Coke Zero Deans under-17 quarter-final at the ANZ stadium.
Manager Manasa Navunitoro said they wanted to continue the momentum and winning against MBHS had made them achieve their target.
“Some of our players are still recovering from injuries and resting and we hope by next week we will get them in to play in the semi-finals,” Navunitoro said.
“We need to work on our set piece and improve on our basic skills as we can’t afford to be repeating this mistakes next week.
“We told the boys to go and lift their performance and continue the momentum from the first half where we performed really well.”
