THE groundbreaking ceremony of rehabilitation work of the two rundown dormitories at Queen Victoria School (QVS) in Tailevu will be done soon says the Education minister Rosy Akbar.

She confirmed this during an interview last week when she was questioned on whether Government was looking for donors to assist in the rebuilding of the dormitories.

“We should be doing the groundbreaking soon,we are at the final stages,” she said.

“It is going to be a Government project.”

Earlier this year, Ms Akbar informed Parliament that the estimated cost of rehabilitation is estimated to be more than $3 million.
