A TOTAL of $6000 worth of new jerseys were given to Queen Victoria School and Cuvu College ahead of the Fiji Secondary School Deans competition next week.

Sponsored by Capital Insurance and done by ICON Sporting apparel, the two schools were overjoyed to receive their new set of uniforms.

Capital Insurance acting CEO Paula Ralulu said rugby was a big part in our culture.

“This is the first time we’re sponsoring a rugby team, especially in the Deans competition,” Ralulu said.

“It is important for us as an insurance company to show our interest and our support to school rugby because rugby plays a big part in our culture.

“We are grateful to both schools for graciously accepting us as their brand and be part of their competition this year.  It is our intention to partner with these schools.”
