QUEENSLANDER Alistair Reginato took out the Under-19 boys title while fellow Queenslander, Holly Williams took out the Under-19 girls title at the Powerade Junior Pro surfing event over the weekend.

The Fijian locals had their work cut out for them with Api Camoro, Kalani Wakeham, Braiden Malady and John Vasea scoring some excellent points themselves in the boys division.

Local Fijian girls Kiesha Wakeham and Kayla Wakeham were impressive but fell short finishing 3rd and 4th respectively.

The world class venue of Cloudbreak was selected after two years at Sigatoka Sand Dunes. As a result of the venue shift the event saw 13 Australian and 1 Hawaiian surfer compete against the strong local talent.
