The Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral in Suva will host a special service of remembrance and thanksgiving in memory of Queen Elizabeth II.
The service will be open to the public and take place at 9am today at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in MacArthur St, Suva.
The Anglican Church has advised those who wish to attend to be seated at the Cathedral before the start of the church service.
Members of the British High Commission as well as other dignitaries will also be in attendance.
Earlier this week, British Deputy High Commissioner Paul Welsh shared his sincere appreciation to members of the public who signed the condolence book and left floral and card tributes to pay their respects to the late Queen.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has been invited to attend the funeral of the late queen in London, England.
Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Tuvalu will also be in attendance after accepting Australia’s help to fly Pacific Island representatives to the funeral that will be held on September 19.
