WITH Classic Paints, panel shops are always guaranteed to be able to service their clients in a satisfactory and timely manner with quality products. Exceptional customer service and quality products have always been the cornerstone of their business.
As one of the largest wholesalers and retailers of automotive paints and related products in Fiji, the company is the market leader and trusted supplier to the automotive industry.
Company managing director Mohammed Harun said their highly trained and experienced staff is one of their main strengths.
“Our people work closely with panel shops to give them the best service all day every day,” said Mr Harun.
“We have trained professionals tasked to provide tailor-made customer solutions through our two retail outlets (Suva and Nausori). Recently Classic Paints has signed up its staff as well as some customers for online training courses with Cromax to help develop their technical skills.
Harun said Classic Paints also provides ongoing training to selected Cromax users bi-annually with the help of Cromax representatives from Australia and they are considering doing the same with Easicoat in the coming year as well.
“We are considering doing the same with Easicoat in the coming year as well” after the launch of a new Easicoat E5 Basecoat range in early 2018. The Easicoat E5 Basecoat system is a high performance solvent based product suitable for solid, metallic and pearl finishes. The product will offer outstanding colour matching for today’s OEM colours at a more affordable price.
In addition to Suva and Nausori, currently Easicoat is distributed by major paint shops in Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba and Labasa. The brand is also being exported to PNG, Samoa and Tonga by Classic Paints in association with Yatu Chemicals, China.
Cromax, on the other hand, is largely associated with all major motor vehicle dealers, bus manufacturers and operators, high end panel shops and aircraft. It is the preferred option when it comes to doing select jobs to achieve a “factory like finish”.
Harun adds that his company only carries genuine brands and proven products and this has always been their strength. “We do this at an age and time where counterfeit products are entering the market at a rapid pace. This has been a pillar of strength for us and the reason for complete customer satifaction,” he said.
Classic Paints today carries world renowned brands such as Cromax, 3M, Meguiars, CRC and Easicoat in the Fijian market. The company was established in 1994 as a small family business with only two employees. Its primary focus has always been on automotive refinish but they also sell APCO and Dulux brand decorative paints from their retail outlets.
Over the past two decades the business has grown into being a household name in paints and today considered to be the largest distributor of automotive paints in Fiji.
