Public advised curfew still exists; five arrested for breach

Members of the public are advised that curfew hours still exist and as the weekend approaches make sure to plan wisely.

Police recorded five cases of curfew breach over the last 24 hours.

Commissioner of Police, Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho said in the Southern division, two people in their 20’s were found loitering in the Narere area.

“The Western division recorded a case involved a 27- year- old man who was found waling in the Nadi area,” Brig-Gen Qiliho said.

“Two farmers of Bua were found to have breached the curfew hours while walking along the Nabouwalu area from 11 pm to 4 am,” he said.

However he said the Eastern and the Central divisions recorded no case.
