PERMANENT secretary for Health and Medical Services Philip Davies is the sixth expat to resign from his position citing personal or family commitments.
He has only served in office for 16 months. Are their premature departures for the same reason a mere coincidence?
If they have other commitments, then why did they take up the appointment in the first place, if I may ask?
I believe none of them has offered any apology for leaving early. However, it has been noted that later on, some of them give other reasons for their resignations, such as the former Commissioner of Police.
They need to be bold and honest in stating the real reason for quitting their job.
I believe they owe that much to the taxpayers of this country who pay their salary and other perks.
