Princess Jazmin of Monaco graces people of Naidi Village

A MOVING ceremony enfolded at Naidi Village outside Savusavu Town today as Her Serene Highness Princess Jazmin Grace Grimaldi of Monaco could not hide her emotions while entering the brand new Naidi Village hall.

While addressing villagers, the daughter of Prince Albert II said she was deeply touched by the hospitality of the people adding she felt at home among them.

“I hope that the new hall will become a house of love where peace will reign, ” she said.

Naidi Village headman Vosamana Baravilala said they were happy to receive their new hall adding it would also be used as an evacuation centre.

Princess Jazmin raised USD$50,000 for the project in the U.S. where she resides.
