EXECUTIVES of the Fiji Primary Schools Football Association hopes to improve the standard of competition in next year’s inter-district championship.

Association president Dinamani Mudaliar said some of their plans included improving the standard of play and be the base of national selection for future Fiji reps.

“We are working on changing some of our game structures by getting in a new format for next year’s IDC,” Mudaliar said.

“For the players, we are grateful that Fiji Football will sort out the players that they want to join in the national under-12 and U14 grade and groom them for future tournaments.

“The development of Fiji soccer is well catered for by primary school teachers.”

Mudaliar said for any sporting activity to be successful, it required the support and assistance from various organisations.
