Primary school IDC: Nadroga to defend U14 title

IT will be a tough battle for Nadroga as they try to defend their under 14 title at the 44th Vodafone Fiji Primary school Inter-district competition.

Coach Avinesh Raj said it would be tough especially when they would be playing against strong teams like Ba, Nadi, Labasa and Rewa.

“Of course as defending champions, the pressure is on us to perform at our best and the players know that too but as I always tell the players to keep their cool no matter how pressured they are,” Raj said.

They won two games against Lautoka (1-0) and Tailevu (2-1), and they lost to North West 2-1.
