THE Assistant Minister for Education Joseph Nand has reminded the teams that soccer is all about winning.

As he opened the 44th Vodafone Fiji Primary school Inter-District Competition at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today, Nand said a player could not score a goal if he did not take the shot.

“Playing soccer with your feet is one thing but playing soccer with your heart is another,” Nand said.

“If at first you don’t succeed, try doing what your coach told you to do the first time.

“Have respect for the match officials, referees, linesman and the fourth official.”
