CUSTOMERS should expect changes in the rates of Postal, Express Mail Service and Money Order services from February 1, 2020.

This was announced today by Post Fiji Pte Ltd, chief executive officer, Dr Anirudha Bansod during a press conference in Suva.

He said while reviewing the pricing structure of their products they had realised the company was incurring a loss with certain services.

“If you see the prior rate change it is very marginal, we have considered the changes in such a way that customers don’t get penalised too harshly on that and the increase to rates some it are in a few cents,” he said.

“So it’s not a huge change in terms of the pricing but it was necessary to rectify our pricing structure.

The price change would also affect services such as Fast Post, Registered Post, Ad-Post and Miscellaneous Postal rates.
