The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will play the Western Force in their second trial match in preparation for the 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season on February 16.

The match will take place at the Western Districts RFC Park in Toowong, Queensland, kicking off at 6pm (Queensland time).

It will be broadcast live on Sky Pacific in an arrangement the broadcaster has with the Force, who are hosting the match.

The Drua defeated the Melbourne Rebels 24-0 in the first trial match at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Saturday.

Drua flyhalf Teti Tela said they had one more trial match against the Force in Brisbane.

“We will look at how we will get better from the Rebels game during training,” Tela said.

“We hope to put on another good performance against the Force in two weeks.”

The trial match against the Force is the last preparation opportunity the Drua will have before their first regular season match of the 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

The opening match is against Moana Pasifika in Auckland, New Zealand on February 25.

The Drua play at home this season for the first time in round three, when they take on defending champion the Crusaders at Churchill Park in Lautoka on March 11.

Tickets for this match are on sale on the Fijian Drua website.
