THE Labasa football side defeated Dreketi 2-1 in the lone Vodafone Premier League match played today.
Both teams were locked nil-all half-time.
The win sees Labasa now have 18 points in fifth position and still with a slim chance of finishing in second position.
The loss, however, has put Dreketi in a very critical position.
With two games remaining, Dreketi is need of points to cement its spot in the top division for another season.
The side has seven points while Tavua has eight.
Dreketi faces Tavua in one of its matches and the result of that match could determine who stays in the Premier division.
Meanwhile, Lautoka leads the standings with 28 points.
