Prasad crowned 2019 Miss Tebara

MISS Hilite Almuniun Sheron Prasad was crowned the 2019 Vodafone Tebara Carnival Queen in Nausori last night.

Miss Prasad, 20, said her week had been hectic having to juggle her exams and the week-long festival.

“I am a student at the Fiji National University and I had exams this week, it was a struggle but I’ve managed to pull through,” she said.

“It wasn’t easy, but I believe through my hard work and the support I have been given, I was able to achieve this.”

She acknowledged the support of her family, friends and her sponsor throughout the entire festival.

Ms Nausori Market Amerita Lewakalou was awarded the 2nd Runner Up award, while Ms Nausori Town Council Taina Degei scooped the 1st Runner Up award.
