Potential for model town to be replicated as climate-adaptable community

THERE is great potential for the Koroipita Model Town to be replicated as a climate adaptable community in other Pacific Island countries.

This was one of the sentiments shared during the Asian Development Bank (ADB) annual meeting in Nadi this week, after a group of international media personnel also toured the community, located on the outskirts of Lautoka City.

Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said Government was looking at further options of funding the town.
